A month ago, my fiancé and I attended our second Rhythm Riot in Camber Sands. If you have been reading this blog for a while you may remember my post here about our first Riot experience.
The traders were great as they were last time but I hardly bought anything. I saved up some money as it is a great opportunity to buy good quality vintage but I was a bit disappointed as I only bought a bag and a bolero. Sometimes I go to an event and think I am going to spend lots of money and then I surprise myself by not buying much at all!
I hadn't initially planned on watching the Surf Riding and Beachwear parade on the Saturday afternoon but I went along and really enjoyed it! Bethan put on a great show and it was fun to watch.
I really enjoyed Gone Hepsville on Saturday evening and there were some great performances on the Sunday too (including Young Jessie and Jai Malano!)
We put some effort into our Saturday night outfits!
The dress that I wore on the Sunday has a little story behind it. I saw it on Etsy over a year ago and it was in my favourites but then after a little while, it had been reserved for someone else and was eventually sold. Then I saw one of the people I follow on Instagram wearing it and she looked great in it. A few weeks ago, I saw her list it on the Facebook selling group Ooh La La and I immediately commented to purchase it! Sometimes I find you miss out on the vintage you love the first time but if you keep looking, you may just find it again!
You can also see the bag I purchased at Riot in the photos along with my Miss L Fire shoes.
There were some great cars as usual, which was lovely to see, especially as the weather wasn't great.
It was a great weekender and I got to meet some lovely people too. The only problem with Rhythm Riot is that it is over so quickly! I really feel it needs to start on the Thursday to give you more time to settle in to it.
I can't wait for the next event!
